Essay / Big Top, Big Trouble - 1032
The late August heat, early September breeze and warm setting sun make for a night of fun and fun memories. As you walk under the marquee, you'll quickly spot a large gray beast, a feisty orange feline, and a miniature yellow car accompanied by a giant human equipped with a red nose and polka dot body. The circus is a fantastic way to have fun in the company of a wide range of some of the world's most magnificent animals. The circus is a pleasant time for most but for others it is a nightmare. It's simple for humanity: if you don't like the circus, don't go. Choosing animals is not so easy; they are the main attraction and therefore are obliged to attend. The animals are the stars of the show, the entertainment of the night and the backbone of the circus. As with everything on this planet, appearances can be deceiving; It’s the circus look. At the end of the night, everything seems fine, but behind the scenes, there's a lot of exploitation going on! The unethical treatment of circus animals has been going on since the beginning of the circus and will continue until something is done. One of the main participants in this crisis is Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey. Although they claim their practices are legitimate and they follow the rules, it seems a bit tacky. According to the Ringling Brothers website, "a relationship [with animals] is built on respect, trust, affection and uncompromising care...training methods are based on reinforcement in the form of food rewards and words of praise. » Do food rewards starve animals until the owner acts? Well no, not according to Ringling's website it states: "Withholding food and physical abuse are prohibited." » Clean stalls, middle of paper...it's worth it to have safe and happy animals.Works Cited "Animal Care."
