In today's society, mass media plays a major role in how people think, feel, and behave in their daily lives . Mass media are means of communication, whether written, broadcast or spoken, that reach a wide audience. This includes television, radio, advertising, films, Internet, newspapers, magazines, etc. Mass media impacts many people around the world due to messages spread through billboards, television, and magazines. Mass media is very beneficial in our world, but it also has its disadvantages. What could these falls be? Who gets the shortest end of the stick? Since the 19th century, women have been victims of sexual stereotypes that: cause great harm and harm their well-being. As well as knowing who they should be, through many different forms of media. This is so true because of the common gender role stereotypes that are propagated in the media and which: affect women more often, but men too are affected by these portrayals. Americans learn fundamental lessons of social life from the media. Mass media today shows the representation of gender roles in mass media and the effect of this representation on American girls and women. Media is a people business, and like any business, its goal is to create opportunities to generate profit. . The problem lies in the way people, especially women, are treated by the media. They are treated as products rather than human beings worthy of dignity, character and respect. The media uses discrimination, objectification and dehumanization to control women's bodies. This results in increased low self-esteem, dangerous body modification procedures, violence, and sometimes death among women. As long as women's bodies continue to be shunned instead of celebrated by the media, these negative effects will persist...
