His job is to fool people and sell the product. However, he is not only fooling the audience, he is also playing the same word game with his son. In one of Nick's son's scenes, Joey asks him about the harms of smoking. In this situation, Nick finds himself faced with a dilemma: tell the truth to his son or play the same word game while saving the reality of his work and continuing to build a good relationship with his son. Nick doesn't tell Joey about the product and doesn't continue to build a good relationship. On the other hand, Nick's image is negative in public opinion because he promotes tobacco which causes millions of people.
