Effective TeamsWhen building a team, the most important ingredient is people. For the team to function effectively, all necessary skills and experience must be present and individuals must have the authority to act on their own. When a team begins work, they will need time and facilities to begin their development and agree on how they are going to operate. The team's goal should be clearly stated and written in a document or manual. The team type in the simulation is a cross-functional work group. If there are poor communicators on the team, many team members will be left in the dark, confused and misunderstood. John Marsh will be a great creator. John's background information supports his knowledge of creativity. He has 15 years of experience in automobile development and manufacturing management. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge with others, so he will be a great team member to work with. I chose Maria de Grassa because I felt she took more care of the human resources department and made sure she hired the right employees to work at Luxurion Auto. I chose Amrita Choudhury for the role of evaluator and advisor and realized that she would be better for the role of creator because of her six years...... middle of paper... .. the right person for a specific role. The team had confidence in each other, as the project turned out to be a success. They all believed they could succeed and they did. They had team efficiency. The selected team also worked together and achieved their goal. Building and maintaining effective teams is a time-consuming and sensitive process in business, and when done well, teams can go a long way toward improving productivity and reducing costs.
