These three characters are represented as a mockingbird throughout the book. Miss Maudie said: “The Mockingbirds do nothing other than create music for us to enjoy. They don't devour people's gardens, they don't nest in corn cages, they don't do anything but sing their hearts out to us. This is why it is a sin to kill a mockingbird. (93) All of these characters were victims of social prejudice, but they overcame it and remained good people through good times and bad. All these characters presented the innocence of a mockingbird even though their innocence is
