  • Essay / Utopia In Brave New World - 1744

In our opinions, these are the kinds of things that are considered important and we would go so far as to say that we couldn't live without them. But to these people, they are insignificant. For us, education leads to knowledge and for us, knowledge is power and power rules the world. But for them, education is not necessary because they do not need power. Power will take them no further in life than what is already written for them. The only type of Brave New World books available to the public are reference works. All books created with opinions and emotions are non-existent. This discretion is necessary because these types of books could call into question the hypnopedic propaganda served to the people. Hypnopaedia was proposed for a reason; it is the tool used to stabilize society. If stability is threatened, so will utopia.
