Essay / Essay on Intolerance - 1366
Unconsciously, these discriminatory personalities disrupt or damage the lives of others. A large part of the discriminatory population refuses to accept diversity, the only reason being a person's difference. Although people are all human, some individuals forget this and only see the differences, as if they live in a superficial world insisting on seeing the similarities. Ideals turn into hatred and rage. These misplaced emotions are overwhelmed and directed into actions towards a various person or group. These actions are known as hate crimes, which is a violent threat or action used in a discriminatory manner against a person or group. Hate crimes are committed by individuals or, more specifically, by hateful organizations. Hate organizations are run by supremacist idealists. Intolerance is pervasive in society and will never cease as long as its impacts are devalued and continually passed down from generation to generation. If people grew up in a society without segregation or bigotry, but one of acceptance and celebration, their future would be whatever they choose and not be altered by hatred.
