Essay / Issue relating to violence against women and children within the familyThe issue I explore As increasing numbers of women gain more rights globally as well as economic power. However, domestic violence, particularly violence against women and children by an associated partner, remains a vast problem that needs to be addressed. Public health studies have indicated that large numbers of people have witnessed varying degrees of violence within the family. I believe that when we talk about domestic violence, there is an image that comes to mind. It usually began with a quarrel between the parents, the husband and wife had some kind of disagreement, and the man gradually lost patience and went crazy. He may end up being aggressive and shaking his fist while throwing objects. Certainly, none of us expect to see such a scene and it is absolutely frightening and horrible for both women and children. Domestic violence also associates extreme negative effects with family unity and harmony. This is why I am developing my research topic and my ultimate goal is to examine and understand the origin of domestic violence, discuss in more detail the impacts of family violence as well as some potential preventive techniques. Why is -what is important and how this problem affects women's healthAccording to research conducted in Romania with a sample of 869 respondents (men and women) aged 18 to 75, 35% of respondents witnessed parental violence and 53 .7% were victims of domestic violence. Psychological and physical violence perpetrated by men against women was the most common type of violence, accounting for 45.1%. Although from my point of view, the number of samples is relatively small, which may reduce the accuracy of the result, but surprisingly, the data...... middle of paper ...... social status were significantly promoted and more people believed in feminism. However, domestic violence against women remains one of the burning issues regarding women's health worldwide. The WHO even announced that there was little evidence of a decline in violence against women over the past year. Therefore, in my opinion, this is an issue that desperately requires a series of measures. As noted above, violence against women is caused by several factors. The main one is the economic situation; for example, whether women have adequate education will have a direct impact on their responses to a violent situation. In this sense, in addition to the efforts of women, the whole world, governments and women's rights organizations should try to help them receive a better education. When internal and external effects come into effect, the risk of domestic violence can be mitigated to the greatest extent..
