Greeting is very important and normally a kiss on the right cheek rather than the left cheek is given or a firm handshake while making eye contact. Even if in some parts of the country there are conservatives, as is the case in the United States. Depending on the region where Canadians are located, their attitude is different from others, but very correct. Like in the United States, New Yorkers are known for being rude and a very fast-paced environment, as everyone is always in a hurry to get somewhere. In other parts of the states, like Tennessee, people tend to be gentle and much more welcoming. Normally, the most popular greeting in the United States is simply a firm handshake. The federal government is composed of three distinct branches: legislative, executive, and judicial, whose powers are vested by the U.S. Constitution in Congress, the president, and the federal courts, including the Supreme Court. On the other hand, based on the Constitution Act of 1867, Canada must have only one Parliament divided into three rudiments, the Crown, the Senate and the House of Commons.
