Although Nietzsche lived in an era extremely different from that of the modern Western world, his ideas translate well into the future. The man of 2200, and beyond, will most likely continue to be driven to work, to spend time enjoying art and his family. Nietzsche's philosophy would continue to chastise this man for not spending enough time at home and for not spending enough time doing the things he wanted to do in life. The aesthetic listener needs to crush the theoretical man and restore society in a positive and artistic way. Nietzsche's idea of the superman comes into play: "A superman as described by Zarathustra, the main character in Thus Spoke Zarathustra, is one who is willing to risk everything for the sake of the betterment of humanity." . .
