    Over the years, there has been debate about whether homosexuality is due to nature or nurture. In other words, are you born gay or are you becoming gay? Scientists are looking into the antecedents and origins of homosexuality. Some believe it is a developmental disorder or some have even tried to diagnose it as a disorder in origin. There are many valid points on one side or the other that can be discussed and much information to research on this topic. On the one hand, people may say that you were born gay because of your genetic makeup, because they always seem to know that they were once gay; On the other hand, some people may argue that your environment is pushing you to become gay, as some people might not come out until an older age. Both sides ask important questions such as: Is there a chance you could have gay offspring if no one in your family line has ever been gay if it comes down to genetics? Or maybe if you were born gay, why don't people talk about it or even do it until later in life? Does your family situation involving the number of brothers and/or sisters you have affect someone's sexuality or is this aspect just completely ignored? All of these questions can be answered with simple explanations and, ultimately, there is no silver lining to this argument; that's all people believe. Despite all of this, the real question is: Is homosexuality a result of a person's environment or their biology and genetics? Many people strongly believe that if you are gay, you were born that way and it has nothing to do with it. to do with your environment. Many scientific researches and studies have been done to prove this point. For example, many scientists have done extensive studies on materials for people who believe that your environment and the way you grow up makes you gay or not. Some behaviorists believe that differences in sexual and gender identification result from family roles, friends, and other peers, or from factors such as masculine and feminine stereotypes. Some say that if you are a male child living in a household with multiple sisters, they can choose one path or another; very masculine or very feminine, becoming gay. Additionally, if you grow up in a household that may be very strict and stereotypical and favors what is "politically correct", the child may be quite afraid and feel the need to be straight. When you think about it and look at parent-child relationships, they can be a big help.
