  • Essay / What is Cloud Computing? - 942

Cloud computing is an Internet-based computing system that provides various applications and services such as storage, servers, infrastructure, low-cost networking, on-demand self-service , pay-as-you-go model, location-independent resource pooling, reasonable price, fast elasticity, etc. Cloud computing is a way to increase capacity and add capabilities without investing in new infrastructure like computer hardware. It involves storage memory, licensing for new software, training a person and dynamically. Cloud computing is innovative and uses With a well-advanced computing power resource and a gigantic improvement in storage capacities, Cloud is the long dreamed vision of IT utilities, which helps in enabling the sharing of resources and services over the Internet . The cloud is a large group of interconnected systems, representing a major change in how we store large information and run applications over time. Cloud computing is a shared pool of configurable and well-advanced computing resources, on-demand network access and is provided by the cloud service provider. The main advantage of cloud computing is its cost-effectiveness. Cloud computing is used by many IT software industries. Clouds have a large pool of readily available configured resources which are well accessible and usable resources such as hardware like desktops, hard drives, platform and services. These cloud resources can be dynamically reconfigured and adjusted on a variable scale, enabling optimal resource utilization. Cloud computing is a new dimension of information technology (IT) and paradigm, the main objective of which is to provide a cost-effective, reliable, personalized and well-guaranteed dynamic computing environment. on a 'pay as you go' basis for customers or end users....... middle of paper...... require less maintenance as there is no need to install or to upgrade software or hardware every time. The cloud mainly improves compatibility between operating systems. This requires always-on, high-speed internet connectivity for unique access every time. In the cloud, the data stored on the cloud server is sometimes so important that customers who store their important data need to make sure that it is not lost or corrupted. . While in the cloud it is easy to check data integrity whether its data is correct or not after completely downloading the outsourced data to be checked, downloading huge amounts of data just to check data integrity is a waste of time for the client's communication bandwidth. with this, it also brings new security vulnerability threats for user outsourced data in cloud computing system.
