  • Essay / Foreclosure Crisis Solution - 1356

Foreclosure Crisis SolutionWhen it comes to solving a problem, there is always a three-point system to follow: The first point is to identify the exact problem to be solved to the point where any problem we find may no longer be broken and we have a clear problem. Next, we need to determine if a solution was made available because of a past event instead of “reinventing the wheel.” Finally, the last point is simply the application of the solution. Now, in the case of the foreclosure crisis, we can try to fix the problems here and there, go back to what caused the problems in the first place, and in a sense try to reverse that process, but these are quick fixes that are like putting a bandage on a gash. The main issue we need to focus on is our contribution to the global economy and at the same time we need to reduce our debt and strengthen our economy immediately. Ways we can solve these problems is by focusing on education, primarily in the sciences, and by legalizing drugs and only allowing the government to distribute and profit from them. We have put money back into what caused this crisis and increased our debt by an extraordinary amount and now we need to make significant changes in order to achieve meaningful results. Legalizing and profiting from drugs, as well as expanding science and education, will reduce our debt and positively affect other aspects of our society that desperately need attention, such as crime rates, unemployment rates and standard of living. Our country's strength comes from our once strongest product, manufacturing. This product has been almost entirely outsourced and given to developing countries such as China and India, which have become strong countries...... middle of paper...... which does not help nothing at this stage? If we try and fail, we can at least say we tried. With all our understanding of the workings of the mind and the effects of drugs, using reason, we as a nation should be able to realize that drugs alone do not corrupt a person. Most of the time, many environmental factors corrupt a person long before they turn to drugs. Other times, drugs are the key element that causes a person to fall into a life of crime, but by improving our educational abilities and reducing problems such as unemployment, crime and hunger, we can then reduce these corrupting environmental factors and not only achieve a more stable economy, but a country with a better standard of living. How to solve our problems is clearly written in the history books, we just need to find out which page we are on.
