Importance of Topic: Exposure to pesticides has been a major health effects concern in recent years due to their widespread use in agricultural production and their inherent toxicity . This issue is an important topic of discussion for a variety of reasons… One of the main reasons for examining the issue is to promote the safety and health of infants by addressing factors that pose serious threats to their health. This is achieved through an understanding of the risks posed by chemicals, the response measures needed, and how to protect infants from such exposure. Direct Care Experience: This pamphlet was shared with a parent of an infant at a community daycare. The parent is a 33-year-old single mother whose child is a 5-year-old boy who attends daycare. She has a degree in business administration and relatively little knowledge about the health effects of this environmental factor. She received a positive response to the teaching and demonstrated that she understood the information provided in the brochure. The educational experience went well as it served as a platform to raise awareness about the serious threats posed by pesticides to the health and safety of infants.
