Animal rights have been a controversial issue for decades and remain so today. Testing products on animals is considered by many to be wrong and goes against animal rights. Products can be manufactured without animal testing. Zoo animals are very well cared for and treated with respect, so keeping them in zoos is not against animal rights. Many animal rights activists have pets because some consider it not against animal rights. Families who have pets give them a home and treat them like family. Product testing goes against animal rights; However, keeping pets and having zoos are not against animal rights. Product testing violates animal rights and is harmful to the animals used for testing. Animals used for testing are typically left alone in laboratories at night or when not being tested, causing the animal to experience pain due to loneliness in the laboratory ("Animal Testing 101"). The products and procedures they test on animals are sometimes terrifying and painful for the animal during testing, making them fearful even when no testing is being done on them at that time (“Animal Testing 101"). Whenever no testing is done on the animals, they are placed in a sterile cage and wait for a long time to move freely. Sometimes keeping them in fear of labs causes them to develop neurotic behaviors such as rocking back and forth or biting their skin. (“Animal Testing 101”). The majority of animals used to test products will be killed after living a life of loneliness and fear (“Animal Testing 101”). Product testing should be stopped because it is harmful to the animals involved in the testing and is middle of paper...... animals, but keeping them in zoos and having them as pets is not contrary to animal rights. . Many people, including animal rights activists, have pets and it is not considered against animal rights to have them. Zoo keepers treat their animals with respect and it is not against animal rights to have them in zoos. Product testing goes against animal rights and should be stopped; products can be manufactured without testing them on animals.
