Essay / Ibn Sina - 1136
Ibn Sina (or also known in the West as Avicenna), was a very devoted Muslim. As well as a thinker dedicated to the idea of natural science and what it brings to the world. His ideas and theories brought Muslim civilization to a new stage in its own scientific growth. (MH) However, being both a man of God and a man of natural science, you would suspect that a conflict arose not only with himself, but also with how others perceived him. If you thought so, you would be partly right. It's not surprising that he was met with hostility from all sides, but what is surprising is why he used scientific facts. Sina, like many others, used his knowledge to better understand the world around him, to prove the existence of God, etc. To help us understand what Sina accomplished in using both science and religion to better understand the divine, we will start by looking at his biography; who were they, when did they live and where? Then his contributions to the world of science; did he write about science? Third, what were his views as a religious thinker; what were his thoughts on the divine, and did his ideas of science and religion coexist with each other, and cooperate peacefully? Finally, has Sina played a greater role in science and religion, does she still manage to have an impact on the world today? Everything we know about Sina is based on the autobiography written by one of his students, Juzjani. (IO) This biography covers the period up to the time he dealt with Juzjani. Sina was born (at the time) 380 (or in the year 980 (Britannica)) in a small village in Afsana, near Bukhara (which is now Uzbekistan). Sina was an incredibly intelligent young man, middle of paper said...medicine. And his argument about the existence of Divinity is very popular in the world of religion. It should also be noted that his work was widely accepted in the faith of Judaism and Christianity. (jud)Ibn Sina, a devoted Muslim as well as a natural scientist. Sina helped change the world regarding faith and reason. Theology and natural sciences should be able to coexist. But not only to coexist, but also to work together. The idea of a coexistence of science and religion is generally considered to be something hostile or non-existent. Like many before him, he showed that they could work, that one could be used to help the other. Just like Sina did with his argument regarding the existence of God. In conclusion, everyone is able to see the contributions that Sina has applied to both the scientific world and that of religion..
