There is no tolerance for any type of academic dishonesty with three outcomes listed as opportunities for the school to find just cause for academic dishonesty which includes cheating and plagiarism. The school could give a zero on the test in question, give the course an F, or refer the student to expulsion, probation, or suspension. I read this before knowing what the outcome would be to prepare myself for the worst. Although I was disappointed to receive a 0 on the exam, I understand the seriousness of what happened. I am very lucky to have only received a 0 and not more serious results. Never in a million years would I have thought that this section would be something I would have to read over and over again to get a sense of what could have been. I need to take this opportunity to stay in the program to prove that I belong there and that I can become a great nurse and grow and learn from this experience.
