    Have you ever been walking down the road and seen that car go by while fishtailing down the road? Nine out of ten chances that person is using a cell phone, right? What they don't realize is that the cops may think they're drunk. In some cases, being drunk would be much better than that. I'm here today to prove that driving with a cell phone can be deadly. Let's go back to that introductory scene, shall we? When you see the person, they may not be speaking verbally on their phone, but they may be texting while driving. When you text and drive, you take charge of your life. Literally. Some telltale signs of someone texting while driving might be: head down, looking out the window toward their lap, or, most obviously, a cell phone on their steering wheel. If you are caught using a cell phone in Newfoundland (texting, calling, surfing the web), you will lose four demerit points on your license or permit. For some, this is a wake-up call.
