I knew I had to start studying for my exams a week or two before. My study habits haven't changed drastically, but I have realized that the BEST way to understand and remember information is to rewrite the concept. I also tend to read aloud and piece the information together to really understand the concept. I also realized that even though I had a dorm to myself, studying wasn't the same as being in the library. I believe that being surrounded by others who are studying diligently for their exams is motivation to study on my own. I love seeing that I'm not the only one who stays up until midnight to finish an assignment or study for four hours straight. The only thing I struggled with was failure. In high school, failure wasn't as bad as it was in college. If I failed an exam or a short quiz in high school, I didn't know it but I ended up with an "A" in the course, whereas here, I had the impression that failure couldn't happen. . But very quickly I realized that it was wrong. I ended up being so stressed out about wanting to get good grades that I barely studied and got a 77 on the first anatomy quiz. After a failure, I know that I will do well if I put in the hours and work and now I tend not to stress because
