  • Essay / A documentary about a new universal language - 628

In mid-September 2013, a new passion was discovered. It was a passion that spawned countless ideas but one stood out and would soon come to life. By the end of May 2014, a documentary would be formulated from hard work and passion. This unique documentary asking people their vision of our world speaking a universal language followed a plan that was changed countless times due to complications or due to a superior idea. A similar situation occurred in this independent research project. At the beginning of this endeavor, the goal was to create a universal language and a documentary with interviews and information about the creation of the universal language. But as the IRP process progressed, my focus changed dramatically. Instead of writing a universal language, the decision was made to ask people what they think of a language for all humanity. This idea that has been worked on tirelessly and on which people have worked for months to pose a question to humanity. The process to produce the final product was long and required patience, effort and perseverance. At the start of the project, a large amount of planning was required. The process journal given to each student helped with reflection prior to this project. Once planning was complete, many ideas for the independent research project were noted down. The ideas continued to flow for weeks and quickly filled the process journal. Then came the winter break and throughout it, questions were asked for the purposes of the documentary and most of the interviews were filmed. MultitudinousDOCUMENTARY AB...... middle of paper ...... the aureate process is taking place and the IRP will continue to help prepare. For almost a year this project has been growing from a burning passion and has finally been revealed to the world and the passion has been satisfied. Works Cited Ali, HO and Juma, A. (nd).
