The influences assessed will include the social, economic and political conditions of the country, which will prove most significant when considering their effect on the happiness and standard of living of people residing in a country. As money is strongly correlated with people's happiness and well-being due to its ability to provide for needs, the economic share will be considered in the relationship between a country's wealth and standard of living. Furthermore, the social factor of a nation and the way its citizens live affect the standard of living of the people of a country. These factors include multiple aspects of social welfare such as education, health, happiness, and crime rates that ultimately affect the standard of living of people residing in a given region.
