Where is Disney most vulnerable from a communications standpoint?When it comes to communications, Disney is most vulnerable in public and government relations. Eisner developed a proposal for a new theme land near the nation's capital; however, the ideal property was on a historic and significant property within the Commonwealth of Virginia. Destroying history in order to make a potential profit did not correspond to the citizen and land effect of the idea. In the case study, CEO Eisner came up with the idea for an American history theme park in the battlefield area of Prince William County, Virginia. Eisner's idea of building a historical theme on a property that has already made its mark in America would be redundant. Disney's conceptual plan was to use $650 million and authorize $130 million for local roads to serve it (Argenti, 2013, p.234).
