Studies show that the more comfortable the room, the better student outcomes. (Heverinen) Students need to feel at home, not like they are in prison. How will they be able to concentrate if they are nervous and worried? They must feel comfortable with their surroundings to concentrate better. Therefore, the classroom should be designed in such a way that it is as comforting as possible for all students. Studies have shown that students living in more comfortable environments tend to perform much better than those who are more uncomfortable. (Heverinen) A comforting classroom could be sofas and pillows. You might think this is silly, but it actually makes students much more comfortable because it reminds them of home and allows them to be relaxed. Classrooms should also consist of a clean environment. They must be disinfected. Mold and insects are the two main things that can affect students. This causes them distractions or illnesses. Many schools end up with ants and cockroaches. Some even had snakes and such. This is unacceptable. There are many key elements to having the best classroom design. The one composed of technology, comfort and cleanliness of the room. Students should be safe and comfortable. They need what can best help them learn, which is, with this generation, more technology. Students tend to do much better under these circumstances. The classroom is where the student stays to learn and take tests. It must therefore be designed in such a way that it is suitable.
