He worships her obsessively, always looking at her and secretly calling her several times without saying anything. The director did a very good job portraying this setting by showing Tomek treating Magda as a god-like figure. This sets the stage for the film as it shows Tomek as a typical teenager and how his obsessions prevent him from following the commandments. The second commandment states: “You shall not make idols” (Bible). Magda was Tomek's idol. The way he sent her bank statements made her believe that someone was giving him money just so he could see her at the post office. He also became a milkman just so he could see and cross paths with her. Once again, Tomek broke the frame. He was so obsessed with her that he idolized her as if she were someone famous. Tomeak couldn't get enough of her. Every waking moment he thought of her or looked at her
