  • Essay / Water is life - 962

“Water is the most crucial resource in our lives and that of our children. The health of our waters is the main measure of how well we love the earth. (Luna Leopold) Can you imagine life without water? Would the earth be as dry as the desert? Could you survive without it? Is water important? Is it a need or a want? There are many reasonable explanations to answer these questions. However, as I explore environmental issues in my home region, I want to focus on water uses. Many people use water recklessly and do not know how and when to protect our water. Every day we use water for many purposes, such as drinking, showering, washing cars, doing laundry, and many uses that we don't see, but are important to our lives. Furthermore, “drainage canals or drainage water treatment and disposal facilities are often misused for washing, drinking and uncontrolled disposal of human excreta or other wastes by social groups the poorest and therefore the most vulnerable. In this way, drainage water contributes to the transmission of diseases. (Chapter 7) I find this source to be very positive with an excellent report and research that has proven their point of view on the cause of health problems related to drainage. This article contains a lot of information that you can question about the causes of our health problems and whether we should do anything about it. I assume all their reports can be linked to people who contributed to having health problems..
