    This overview is based on a child's development as a learner. From four prescribed readings, information was collected to show and state different ways to help a child learn in the classroom. These four readings help make sense of what a child is learning; It also shows guidance by illustrating ways to help a child develop and acquire skills that they can use to improve their knowledge and understanding in a classroom environment. This article is based on the 5 elements for effective oral language teaching; This is useful information that teaches oral language development in the classroom. These five components focus on these concepts to: 1. Develop listening and speaking skills, which are instructions for developing students' ability to listen and speak well. From there, children develop conversational skills that will influence the way they interact with others; this will also increase their vocabulary and also help in developing strategies. An example a teacher might use is the “questioning technique” where they give the student time to think about their answer. 2. Teaching a variety of spoken texts, which teaches approximately 7 oral language functions. For the student to develop his understanding, he must learn the different types of oral languages. 3. Create a language learning environment, this teaches about 3 important elements in a learner-friendly support classroom where they will feel safe and supported. Students will have their own way of learning, so as a teacher, it is important to value students and their learning style. This can be physical, cultural and also so that communication takes place at all times in the classroom environment. 4. Visual images can be used to make sense of their learning. It also allows students to be more motivated in their reading of visual texts, as well as in their interactions inside and outside the classroom. Overall, these four readings showed important strategies and ideas that are helpful to a child as they learn literacy. We use literacy in everyday life, it is not just learned in the classroom. It is important that teachers continue to work with their students to develop their literacy. These strategies are useful and can be used in the classroom to improve students' skills in communicating with others, and it gives them a chance to express themselves.
