    1. I want to become a nurse practitioner. I would like to become a nurse practitioner because I could help people and myself. I think when I am, I will always want to be a nurse. Only 10.6% of all registered nurses are under 30 years old. The average age of all registered nurses is less than 30 years old. The population average for registered nurses in the United States is 46.3b. A nurse practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse who has completed education and has a master's or doctoral degree. There are approximately 3,063,162 practicing nurse practitioners in the workforce today. There is still a nationwide physician shortage and the NP profession has been growing. (NP) also plays an important and vital role in the American healthcare system. The percentage of NP is low but has increased over the years.3c. NPs are often found in Texas, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, and California, and Texas is among the fastest growing states in terms of new hospitals, clinics, and other health care facilities.
