Essay / The War on Auraxis - 748
Hello and welcome to Planetside 2. "Whatever gods are, they have long since abandoned this place." Planetside 2 is unlike any other shooter. With open-world warfare, it's not difficult to find a battle that suits your playstyle, or end up being a road wreck because people don't know how to drive. Battles can range from small outpost skirmishes to full-blown bloodbaths in massive biodomes. He also excels in combined arms tactics. With faction-specific armor, fighter jets, bombers, and transports, it's easy to find a role you can enjoy and master. In this game there are three factions or empires. First you have the Terran Republic, loyal to the Republic crown. Their distinct features are red and gray uniforms. Their weapons have low damage rates, but make up for this with high rates of fire. The Terran Republic is a conservative and socialist state. I only seek to unite the three factions. Although they do not have the best weapons, they compensate with advanced tactics and military masses. This means that if they throw enough bodies at the enemy, it will eventually break. Often in the game we call it "the meat grinder". Next we have the New Conglomerate. This faction is made up of rebels, traitors, criminals and fugitives. These scum of traitors, as we loyal subjects like to call them, prefer to appear in blue and yellow. Their arsenal of weapons is primarily comprised of second-hand weapons that the Terran Republic has deemed unfit for service. While this may be the case, they are not a force to be taken lightly. Their numbers grow every day, as more and more loyalists turn their backs on the crown. These rebels are fighting for their freedom. They do not know that their ideas are illusory. Finally there is...... middle of paper ...... e 2 can quickly become boring, and just a bad experience overall. YouTube or Google, provide reliable tips and tricks to improve your game. Because the better you are, the more exciting the game can become. Overall, Planetside 2 remains my favorite game, everything about the game is player based. You can create your own goals. My personal goal in the game is to hunt down as many level 100s as possible. I find it funny when I eliminate a player at most. I also try to always beat my previous scores, team kill Sinist (infamous character on my server) or just sit outside a large base and take screenshots. The game is open world, which opens up endless possibilities when it comes to having fun. I would give the game a critical rating, all things considered, of 4 out of 5. There's still some work to be done in the game, but overall it's still pretty awesome.
