Essay / Robotics in Healthcare - 1245
The use of robotics in the medical field is a cutting-edge technology that continues to develop rapidly. The primary goal of integrating medical robotics into healthcare is to enable a greater sense of precision in surgical procedures, which has not previously been achieved by human capabilities alone. This sense of precision has increased what makes medical robotics a unique and valuable integration into the field of medicine. The field of medical robotics offers great potential to maximize the capabilities of doctors and surgeons when performing complex surgical procedures or where there is a strong need for dexterity and precision in diagnosis and treatment. Although the focus is primarily on surgical robotics, medical robotics covers a wide variety of areas of patient care. The field of medical robotics is a relatively new field. The first known documented use of robotics in the medical field took place in 1985. A robot helped place a needle in the correct position for a biopsy of a patient's brain. Although there is still much to explore and discover in the field of medical robotics, advancements are increasing steadily and at a rapid pace. Historically, robots have often been introduced to automate or improve discrete processes, such as painting a car or placing test probes on electronic circuits, but their greatest economic influence has often come indirectly as essential enablers of integration IT of entire production or hosting processes. ..Robotics can completely change the medical field, surgical robots can be considered as additional integrations in surgery that increase the quality of the operation. The goal of surgical robotics is not to supplant sur......middle of paper...seen. Robotics would be a beneficial tool for surgeons and doctors, making surgery much more precise and safer for patients. The implementation of robots in the medical field would change not only the medical field but the entire world.
