LIFE CARE CENTER PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMIntroductionCreating an Effective Performance Management System (PMS) to Develop Short- and Long-Term Goals for the future success of the organization must include everyone from senior management to entry-level employees. . However, leaders and followers need to be on the same page for this plan to stand out and become effective. This means establishing a development plan, having the right cultural behavior, appropriate staff, strong leaders with strong leadership skills, building relationships with employees, maintaining employee loyalty, a reward system that is beneficial and rewarding for every employee and implement assessments. This Life Care Center (LCC) research paper will examine what needs to be improved to build a better PMS for the future goals and success of the organization. Organizational Strategy Every organization must have a mission, vision and purpose to achieve short and long term goals. LCC has all three elements in place to achieve its organizational goals. However, in 2013, LCC experienced a huge collapse in its performance management system plan, which resulted in the loss of dedicated employees at all levels. LCC has implemented various PMS, which help them set the standards for achieving future goals and rewards for many years to come. However, in order to establish and achieve the effect of the PMS objectives, each employee must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) necessary to fulfill the objective, value and mission of the PMS provided by the LCC. LCC is considered a provider of skilled nursing care. LCC owns, manages and/or is affiliated with qualified facilities, assisted living facilities, home health agencies, hospice facilities and retirement centers throughout the country.
