Essay / My autobiography of my life in the Dominican Republic
My college years were fabulous. I have very good memories of that time. I remembered that during this period, my father was continuing his studies. He returned to school to become a teacher. He pursued his dream of having better opportunities in life and started working as a teacher, but unfortunately the Ministry of Education sent him away from home to work. I remembered that he left on Monday and came home on Friday. My mother remembers that at that time she continued to work on the farm because the money they paid my father as a teacher was not enough to support our family. My mother is a woman who grew up working since she was a child. She always told me that her father abandoned her from school around the age of nine because he wanted her to help him.
