    During the third stage, the conflict from the second stage has been resolved and there is now more effective management of conflict within the team. There is a higher level of trust and commitment because we were able to resolve conflicts from the second stage and there is a greater willingness to cooperate (Wheelan 2016). The goal of this step is to strengthen cooperation and more clearly define the roles and organization of the team (Wheelan 2016). There is less competition or desire for status at this stage and there is more open communication, positive relationships, and a focus on the task at hand (Wheelan 2016). For my team, stage three occurred during weeks seven through nine. This is something that happened quickly and easily for our team. At this point, our relationship was solidifying and we felt even more comfortable around each other. Our roles naturally became clearly defined by our strengths.
