One of the disadvantages is increased isolation. When a person works independently, he or she must face the challenge of isolation. Indeed, when an individual works alone, he necessarily feels alone. Hamilton states that “loneliness is the main reason for lack of exposure to new ideas” (para. 5). Another disadvantage of teleworking is the loss of team spirit. This makes it difficult to bring people together who are not actually together. Working in a group promotes a sense of belonging and motivation to work towards a common goal. For example, when staff are remote, the feeling of working toward a common goal diffuses easily, especially in smaller organizations. Loss of synergy is another disadvantage of teleworking. Working only deprives employees of knowledge of new ideas, which is necessary in the course of work to increase productivity. Bringing employees together helps staff come up with new ideas and solutions to problems as they arise. Lack of communication is also a disadvantage of teleworking because no information is shared. When information is not shared, risks of malfunction may arise. Additionally, development issues and ways to solve problems cannot be addressed. Conclusion: the path to the future of
