Second, students of different races will have different stories and backgrounds, and it's important to listen to everyone no matter what. I really loved hearing what they had to say, and it interested me because I don't know what their lives are like. They have read this story a hundred times, while I have not read it once. They knew what was going to happen and they told stories about themselves based on the story we were reading. I think this experience was really valuable for me as a future educator because I was able to work with people from different backgrounds. Every teacher is going to work with different breeds, and I think just having that experience gives you practice for that. I also thought it was good practice for me because it gave me an idea of ​​what 1st graders would be like. I definitely think I could see myself in that age range or a little older.
