The Chinese word (han-zi) is a hieroglyphic word and it has its own artistic style: Chinese calligraphy. Additionally, Chinese calligraphy (shu fa) provides crucial documentation for learning about history up to the present day. Chinese calligraphy is one of the best documented and preserved arts in human history in the world. It has been passed down from generation to generation and has not lost its value and importance in Chinese culture. Chinese culture presents a unique way of doing things. Culture and tradition are elements of civilization that seem to change with each passing day. The continuous connection and globalization brought about by faster communication and movement through technology has enabled sharing, sharing of ideas, and exchange of information (Xu, Lau, Cheung, & Pan, 2005, p. 36 ). The preservation of culture always remains a priority. as the central point of a given society. The Chinese have adopted this ideology and are careful to protect their culture and its individual components. The contemporary Asian world has a level of technology that is envied around the world. Yet, despite technological advances, most Asian societies have managed to maintain their original culture. Chinese culture cannot be discussed in a single article, in fact, scholars have specialized in deciphering and understanding it. The sequential events in the culture of the Chinese nation can be attributed to the eventual development of art and, more importantly, calligraphy. Reading, information and knowledge are an integral part of calligraphy as explained above. A person must understand the needs of the world around him before taking up calligraphy. The bottom line, however, is that creativity is everything in the world of calligraphy..
