Essay / Why do hunters hunt today? - 1349
In today's society, many people have the wrong idea about hunting. These people think that hunters kill animals simply for fun and sport. Some people hunt for sport, but the majority of hunters hunt for food. What skeptics don't know about hunters is that we treat animals with moral values. We respect animals and never allow any body part to go to waste. There are also many ways in which we have evolved in our hunting methods from the Middle Ages to today. The future of hunting is questionable; will we still be able to hunt? There are many ways in literature to talk about hunting over the years and the need to kill animals or beasts. As a society today, we have evolved a lot from what hunting was to the Middle Ages and so on. The way we hunt in today's world has changed so much from using sticks and stones to rifles and other hunting weapons. Hunting also provided us with provisions to keep warm and helped make tools for daily life over the years. When man first evolved, he had to learn to hunt to survive. There are also different types of hunting, such as tracking down a person or a criminal. People used dogs for hunting, finding food, and as protection from the animal they were hunting. Today in America there are many animals to hunt; turkey, deer, dove, quail, pheasant, duck, geese, elk, bear and many more. There are many stories that talk about different types of forms of hunting in the Middle Ages for example; Beowulf and the Green Knight are forms of the hunting styles. Many ancient Indian tribes had legends about hunting stories that were passed down from generation to generation. In the history of hunting, some believed that you became a man when you could go among papers, only to get hit and killed by cars. With hunting, we can eliminate this problem by reducing the population of deer and many other animals. If he doesn't kill the deer, he could put it in critical condition and will have to fight to survive. No one wants to see a deer fighting for its life. The pigs invade crops, eat everything, attack people and have killed a few as well. If in the future hunters stop hunting wildlife altogether, they could result in the loss of livestock crops for farmers, which could cause a huge problem for our society. They also spread multiple viruses that they can transmit to farmers' livestock, which can lead to a decline in livestock numbers. If we were to stop hunting altogether, farmers' crops would take a huge toll and wildlife would start eating all the food they are trying to provide for humans..
