What attracted me to the nursing profession was the desire to become a caregiver. Being a nurse for 7 years has been rewarding and at times very challenging. I didn't know how to be a nurse until I became a patient. During my time at the hospital, my personal experience as a patient taught me how important it was to continue my nursing education. It is important to me to be an advocate, knowledgeable and trustworthy for patients and their families.
