    Customer survey is one of the most difficult and mind-boggling tasks that many fear to undertake, especially those who provide services to customers. There have been debates over the best method to use to ensure the accuracy of the survey. Different methods have been proposed regarding the accuracy of some of the methods used, but no consensus has been reached on which method should be used. Different companies use different methods, but in the recent past, many surveys have been conducted using the Likert scale questionnaire method. This technique has been found to increase the level of accuracy as it is a psychometric tool. The Likert scale measures attitudes, beliefs, and opinions by allowing respondents to indicate their degree of agreement or disagreement in a multiple-choice format (Likert, 1932). Although very difficult to construct, there have been positive comments regarding its accuracy. Likert Scaling is also praised for its ease of data interpretation and calculation (LaMarca, 2011), making Likert Scaling the best option to use by many businesses trying to find out what customers think about their operations. With all the discussion and debate about the Likert scale, it is important to see how it is used in a survey by analyzing how to construct it correctly. Any investigation involving the Likert scale should begin with the formulation of the main theme. For example, what the survey is trying to find. A well-formulated theme will help formulate good survey questions (Allen and Seaman, 2007). For example, if one wants to know what the customer thinks about their service delivery, the survey question should be formulated based on this theme.
