  • Essay / Why I Want to Become a Pharmacist Essay - 795

My main goal is to use my career in pharmacy to serve the public in the best way possible. I wouldn't hesitate to challenge the status quo to make sure I've done everything I can. I believe that public service, even in its smallest way, can bring great benefits. I took four semesters of Spanish because in Astoria, where I work, there is a large Spanish population. My ability to understand Spanish, even if it is basic, will help me help more patients. Additionally, I am majoring in economics and I believe this will help me interpret my patients' demand so that I can meet their needs. Running a successful pharmacy requires a certain type of business acumen that would require striking a balance between patient satisfaction and economic growth. I am passionate about a possible career in pharmacy and becoming a pharmacist is not only my ultimate goal, but it is an area in which I have already shown promise.
