    The Dutch Test for Conflict ManagementMy preferred style of conflict management is avoidance. This makes me feel comfortable in any occasion since I try to cooperate with anyone to reduce problems. One of my colleagues played his music on his computer so loudly that I had to concentrate on my work which was due to be finished soon. It was boring and ruined my concentration. I knew he had a bad attitude and if I told him to turn off the sound or reduce the volume, he would get angry with me and break up our friendship. Therefore, I just ignored him and let him enjoy the music rather than warning him and lost one of my friends. I tried to stay focused and continued working while using headphones to reduce the noise. One of my next door neighbors blows his car horn every time he comes home. This had been happening for a long time and happened every time he drove his car. We were irritated by the noise. Once, while we were talking, I asked him why he used the horn when he came home. He explained that he just wanted his wife to open the gate and the door because he didn't have the keys. I told him that what he did was very annoying and was disturbing to my family. Eventually he never used a horn again when he came
