Essay / My Late Grandpa: Brian Blizzard - 702
On the way, as we were driving, my dad said, "Grandpa wants to teach you both something he thinks you'll enjoy." I remember wondering what he could possibly be talking about. As we pulled into the long driveway, I saw my grandfather, who was six feet and five inches tall, standing in the garage alongside two green four-wheelers. At the time, I had never driven one before, let alone considered driving one, but knowing my grandfather's adventurous personality, I quickly began to imagine what quickly became a reality: my Grandpa was going to teach us how to drive a four-wheeler. He was exceptionally patient with me as I slowly walked through the farm passing many of the farm animals that I was so afraid of at the time.
