Hodges (personal communication, May 16, 2007), companies are looking to change the role of their human resources. organization to an organization that is a very proactive partner, playing a leadership role in helping to define the company's operational strategies to achieve the company's objectives. This is a changing role of human resource management (HRM). This leadership role includes globalization, technology, diversity, e-commerce and ethics. PR Newswire (2007) published an article on globalization on April 27, 2007. The news indicated that majorities around the world believe that economic globalization benefits national economies, businesses, and consumers. This report is based on a global poll conducted by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and WorldPublicopinion.org, in cooperation with polling organizations around the world. I think this is associated with human resource management. All systems that influence the behavior, attitudes and performance of employees, through changes that revitalized a company, are centered on HRM. Globalization is a system that influences employees. The highest support is found in countries with export-oriented economies, such as China, South Korea and Israel. In the United States, about 60% think globalization is a good thing (“Wire Feed,” 2007).
