In addition to helping to improve the lives of other people, anthropologists attempt to use their knowledge to shape the core content of anthropology. John van Willigen says that "much authentic anthropological knowledge is scattered in the journals of a wide range of disciplines, as well as in the fugitive literature of technical and contractual relationships", and that, as a result, anthropological knowledge has little effect on the formation of the main content of anthropology, which is the opposite of what should be done (Rylko-Bauer, Singer and Willigen 2006). Knowledge must be integrated into core content, which should be of utmost importance to “academic-based applied anthropologists” (Rylko-Bauer, Singer, and Willigen 2006). Applied anthropologists also speak of a “theory of practice,” that is, a group of standards that presage or clarify how the information produced by applied studies is put into action and that “can refer to "factors" that directed the effective application of this knowledge either in political growth, interference or decision-making (Rylko-Bauer, Singer and Willigen
