Essay / We see and understand things not as they are, but as we...
How do we see and know things? Do we exploit the denotation of things or do we examine and refine it with perception and emotion before processing the meaning? The way we see things depends on our area of knowledge and the way we understand things depends on our ways of knowing. These two later combine to show whether meaning is an emotional concept or simply reasoning. If I were to analyze an iron particle in chemistry class, I would discover its physical and chemical properties. In language class, I discovered connotation and denotation. In art class, I used physical and chemical properties to create a connotation of the particle so that I could express the emotion of iron based on its own properties. As you can see, in chemistry class, I see the iron particle as it is while in English class, I see it as it is and as I am. In Arts class, I change the way she is to see her as I am. There are also cases where we see things as they are but with varied perceptions. Our way of seeing things, even if we are in the same field of knowledge, fluctuates. If you were deep into the subject, you would see them as they are, but as you delve deeper and deeper into the subject, they might alternate from time to time depending on how we understand their concept. Consider the value of pi in mathematics. You cannot see pi based on your emotion because numbers play no role in emotion except in cases where you strive to understand pi as another object or thing to make it easily absorbed into your brain. I remember when I was in 7th grade, I first learned about Pi. The first few days I was very confused because I couldn't associate pi with anything because it's a number. I couldn't see pi as anything other than just a number... middle of paper ...... other piece of paper 10 times, track 1 was a disappointment, as the trial increased the accuracy increased . When I first wrote it, I didn't see it as I am, but when I tried it for the 5th time, I already knew a little about the letter even though I didn't see it visually. Emotionally, I saw the letter as I am. The way we see things is distinguished more quickly when the way we see and understand the measurement of perception affects the different ways of knowing and areas of knowledge when an emotional state has been played through familiar and unfamiliar lenses . . How we see things depends on how we perceive emotions. How we understand things depends on how we understand the perception of emotions. How we see and understand things is a combination of how we perceive the emotion and how we perceive the perception of the emotion itself..
