People with a higher education level and higher income approve of interracial marriages over someone who earns a lower salary and has a higher education level lower (2005). The 18-29 age groups of both sexes have an approval rating of 18.5%, not much different from the 64 and over percentage of 10.7. This fact may shock many because it seems unusual for a fresh young generation to refute something that is normal and easily acceptable. The younger generation is being brainwashed by the older generation into believing that they cannot believe in the love of a man or woman of color and must remain loyal to its species; what causes this fear and rejection towards the other person. Makes them feel like they are not worthy of the other's love or that they are ashamed to be with them, crushing many young people.
