    My good friend said that "counseling is a way to get rid of evil." I didn't quite understand what she meant by her statement at the time, but now, after my counseling sessions, I understand. I suppose this may not be the right response to my friend's testimony, but I realize that counseling has been a way for me to vent and understand myself. Even though my friend's quote stuck with me and it was thought that provoking my feelings towards counseling sessions was something I didn't want to do. I dreaded and disliked the idea that I felt this doubt was due to my own lack of personal satisfaction. I needed to realize that I needed to have my own "self talk", meaning I needed to really sit down with myself or when I was in a situation and practically talk to myself to talk to myself. ensure that he was a person of quality and substance.
