Another principle of health care delivery is that the overall quality of services must be maintained. Faced with great technological progress, citizens demand high-quality medical and healthcare services. It is therefore essential that health service providers maintain a certain quality of service. Additionally, the government should continue to be the primary funder of public health care, but provide targeted subsidies to areas of greatest need. Since the government can guarantee stable medical service with its large resources, its services and finances can provide transparency to the public. And more importantly, it can ensure that affordable services are provided to the public and everyone can have access to them. Apart from this, there should be sufficient safeguards to ensure that no one is denied adequate care due to insufficient means. It just acts as a safety net for everyone.
