We have all been victims or witnesses of cyberbullying. If not, it will probably happen at some point in your life. We know that cyberbullying has many impacts on people, but did you know that victims of bullying are 2 to 9 times more likely to consider suicide? Most victims of cyberbullying have had suicidal thoughts at least once, if not several times. About 58% of kids admit that someone has said mean or hurtful things to them online. More than 4 in 10 people say this has happened to them more than once. This statement tells you that more people have been victims of cyberbullying than you think. Some people think that cyberbullying is not a major problem and that many people don't experience it, but they are wrong. Cyberbullying is a major problem within our society that negatively impacts adolescents and young adults and must end. As most of us know, cyberbullying is the transmission of cruel or hateful texts or images via the Internet or other devices. like cell phones. Rumors are likely to be spread by others through different social media sites. Things like stalking, intimidation, threats, harassment, humiliation, and impersonation are all different examples of cyberbullying. Students can be victims of cyberbullying anywhere they have access to a cell phone or computer. About half of cyberbullying victims also experience traditional face-to-face bullying. Cyberbullying can occur in many different places, but it is a major conflict within our school systems. Studies found in 2006 that 45% of preteens and 30% of teens were victims of cyberbullying during school hours. It's a big deal. Encourage your children to let you know when they or someone else is being bullied. By using all of these methods, we can reduce the amount of cyberbullying that occurs in our world. So, as I have said before, cyberbullying is a major problem within our society that has had a negative effect on adolescents and young adults and should be avoided as much as possible. as possible. Remember that cyberbullying causes many conflicts such as self-harm, low self-esteem, depression and eventually leads to suicide. We need to be conscious of what we say to people, because sometimes we don't realize what we are doing. Cyberbullying doesn't make you a bigger person. If anything, it makes you look weak.
