    The Worldwide Influence of St. Thomas AquinasThomas Aquinas was born in 1225 to an incredibly Catholic family in a small town in Italy. Growing up, Thomas Aquinas was very intelligent and very interested in the Catholic faith and philosophy and eventually became a teacher of all these things. Thomas Aquinas proved himself to be an important historical figure during his life by being a leader in the Catholic Church, writing The Somme, and spreading his beliefs. Thomas Aquinas emerged as the important historical figure we know today with his leadership in the Catholic Church and helping people understand religion. Thomas Aquinas was heavily involved in the Church and took on small leadership roles behind the scenes. For example, Thomas Aquinas always helped teach the Church. One important thing that helped Aquinas reach such a level of popularity was the fact that the Catholic Church was at its peak. Because the Church was so popular, Aquinas was able to more easily spread his beliefs and gain recognition. Thomas Aquinas imposed his theological beliefs and shared them through primary sources. He wrote many different books and informational materials regarding the Catholic Church and they were mainly from the philosophers' point of view, which made him different from everyone else in the Catholic Church. His philosophical perspective gave the reader a more informative article including more evidence than most religious books.
