Teachers don't need to carry a lot of books and notes because they can have everything on a laptop or iPad. Additionally, they can easily develop lesson plans, access the curriculum, and track student progress. I learned this at an annual ARD (Admission, Review and Dismissal) meeting for my son, everything was done electronically and all notes were taken on iPads and laptops.
